Please Be Advised, From the desk of GM. In order to expedite, the number of requests we are receiving, from our in-district farmers and landowners with assistance in completing the Texas Department of Agriculture Attestation letter, which is required for the 1944 water treaty grant money. https://texasagriculture.gov/Grants-Services/Grants-and-Services/Texas-Water-Treaty-Assistance-Grant HCID 1 GM has requested that before arriving at the HCID1 office please bring the following: HCID1 buyer number or a copy of your HCID1 flat rate assessment. if you lease land please contact the landowner for a copy of their assessment. The Office staff will use these documents to find and total your flat rate acres for 2023 and 2024 and enter them into the attestation letter and provide a signed and notarized copy. We will not notarize the eligible applicant portion of the attestation letter, only the district certification portion, Thursday, May 22, 2025, by 11:59 pm Central Time.
